Here is some advice on how to take care of your skin properly. Taking care of your skin consists of 3 major steps, which are cleansing, toner and hydration. Before starting to take care of your skin you need to determine your skin type. There are 5 skin types: normal, dry, sensitive, oily and combination skin.

1. Cleansing - Women should cleanse their face twice a day: in the morning, in order to remove the excess oil and in the evening, in order to remove make up and dirt. Cleansing should also include exfoliation in order to remove the dead cells at the surface of the skin and reveal a new layer of rejuvenated skin. Here are some tips:

Remove mascara with swabs of cotton wool soaked in makeup remover. Keep your hair in a pony tail, because you do not want cleansing gel or make up remover in your hair. Remove shadow from your eyelids with wool pads soaked in cleansing lotion. Pour a little cream in hand in hand and face cleaning, apply nose, chin, cheeks, forehead by using your two fingers of other hand.
Massage the cream on the face, starting under the throat, ascending, with gentle movements. Continue to massage to help penetrate the cream on top, using your fingers. Massage the cream gently from the eye to the nose. Massage the cream using your index finger. Remove the cream from the face with the cotton pads. Start with the neck, cheeks and then continue it on the forehead.
2. Toner - Toning lotions removes traces of dirt, makeup or cleansing lotions that remain after the first round. It can also hydrate the skin and you should choose an alcohol free toner if you have dry or sensitive skin and an alcohol toner if you have oily or combination skin.
Immediately after cleaning, apply toning lotion on the forehead and cheeks. Apply toning lotion on areas around the nose. Continue to apply lotion on the areas around the chin.
3. Hydration - Without hydration, the skin will not remain soft and supple. The face is exposed to the drying effect caused by the weather, so moisturizing lotions - that forms a film on the face – should be your best friends.
Here are some tips: Using your fingers, apply moisturizer all over the face easily. Click the fingers of both hands in the center of the forehead and massage cream slowly outwards. Massage the cream gently around the eyes. Massage the cream around the jaw line, chin and mouth with the middle fingers of both hands. Massage the cream on the neck alternating hands, using upward touch.

You should have a day cream and a night cream. The day cream should also contain SPF protection, in order to protect your skin from the damaging sun rays that cause premature aging and wrinkles. If you do not have SPF incorporated in your day cream, buy a simple SPF sunscreen protection lotion. I recommend the 302 skincare products.
